RAMAN PARAMESWARAN AWARD
This is an award in the name of sri. Raman Parameswaran MA,BEd.,Mavelil ,Podiyattuvila,Valakom,Kollam)who was a dedicated teacher for more than quarter of a century in many schools in the different parts of our state. He began his career in a humble way as a primary school teacher in 1950.In 1961 he passed BA in the second class and promoted to the highschool. He really stood an example to the young generation marked by his hard work and enthusiasm. As a teacher he was loving and loved by students. He retired from kerala Government service on 31st march 1976 while he was higher grade H.S.A. Of sadanandapuram government high school.
This award is instituted by his son Dr.K.R.Soman as a token of love towards his father who is his friend,philosopher and guide.
This is awarded to the students every year
a. Who has secured the highest grade in the first language Malayalam in the SSLC Examination who passes in the first attempt during the previous year.
b. He should be a student for at least one year,even in standard 10 of the Government High school Sadanandapuram.
